Mission

The mission of the Northern Arizona Chapter is to support and promote the purposes and objectives of the Military Officers Association of America; to foster cameraderie among active, retired, and former officers of the uniformed services and protect their interests; provide useful services to our members and their dependents; and to serve our community and nation.

Information on Joining the Chapter

Contact by phone or email the Membership Chairman, or any of the other chapter officers listed above.

Chapter Activities

We support two college scholarships — Air Force and Army ROTC units at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in Prescott AZ. We also present MOAA awards to two high school AFJROTC units, one at Prescott High School and the other at Mohave High School in Bullhead City AZ. Our Aux members involve themselves in various veterans' services activities.

Legislative Issues

Our Legislative Liaison Chairman keeps the Chapter apprised of state and national issues which affect our membership. We send out to our membership via email regular Legislative Updates and the MEGAVOTE provided by National. In response to these, many of our members regularly send emails to our congressmen using the MOAA website facility.

General Information

NACMOAA in Prescott meets bi-monthly on the first Saturday of even-numbered months, at 1130 a.m. for lunch. We always have a program, either guest speakers or other presentations. Our Payson AZ satellite chapter meets quarterly; for details, contact the satellite president listed above.

About Our Chapter

This past year, our former Flagstaff satellite chapter was chartered as the Grand Canyon Chapter, MOAA. The previous NACMOAA assigned zip codes and area was divided between us and them. NAC now covers about 24,000 square miles and includes the area south of Interstate Hwy 40, southward to just north of Phoenix, On the west side, our area runs west of Hwy 93 from the Nevada state line to just south of Bullhead City AZ.
