Lt. Col. Gregg A. Quinones is a member of the Florida Air National Guard assigned as Deputy Base Civil Engineer with the 125th Civil Engineer Squadron in Jacksonville, Fla. He received a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico, Mayague. He holds a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rutgers, a Master of Business Administration in Finance from Temple University, and a Master of Science in International Logistics and Supply Chain Strategy from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
He received his commission as a naval officer through the Navy Reserve Civil Engineer Corps (CEC) Direct Commissioning Program. He completed an inter-service transfer to the Air National Guard and has served as a Civil Engineer with the states of Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Florida, and with Puerto Rico. He also completed an inter-service transfer to the Air Force Reserves, serving as a Contracting Officer. He mobilized for Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan and Operation Freedom's Sentinel. He also worked as a partnership broker with the Office of the Secretary of the Air Force for Installations and Environment.
In civilian life, he is a Category Manager with Thales USA. He is a Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) from the Institute for Supply Management, a Certified Supplier Quality Professional (CSQP) from the American Society for Quality, and a Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) from the Disaster Recovery Institute (DRI). He resides in Orlando, Fla.
