CWO4 Lelia P. Jackson, USMC (Ret)

Jackson enlisted in the Marine Corps in 1983 and was appointed a Warrant Officer in 1992. She held Administrative Officer positions of increasing responsibility in ground and aviation units. Jackson served as a Personnel Administration Readiness Inspector, led several Service-wide process improvements, and directed multiple unit mobilizations and deployments supporting Operation Enduring Freedom prior to retirement in 2003.

 

She currently serves as a Senior Strategist in the Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration. Jackson holds a bachelor’s degree in Criminology and a master’s in Technology Management, both from the University of Maryland University College (Global Campus).

 

A graduate of the Federal Executive Institute, Jackson was a Fellow in the Partnership for Public Service Excellence in Government Program and a Fellow in the White House Leadership Development Program.
