Amanda Centers has over 10 years of association management experience centered on fundraising and professional development services for service members, veterans, and military spouses.
To date, she has helped secure over $3.5 million in donor contributions in support of military family programs and produced over 80 military community events that have presented thousands of employment opportunities to over 30,000 attendees. These events have been recognized on CNN, CNN France, FOX, WETA and ABC affiliate stations, along with Stars and Stripes, WTOP, AFN, and Veteran Magazine. Additionally, she was part of the MOAA team awarded a Summit Award from the American Society of Association Executives, recognizing impactful community service initiatives among their 9,300 member organizations in 2012, 2015, and in 2017.
Amanda is a native of Denver, Colo., and a graduate of George Mason University with a BA in Communications. She is a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) and holds a certificate in Fundraising Management from Indiana University’s Lilly Family School of Philanthropy. She has served on the Executive Ordered Interagency Task Force on Veterans Small Business Development as well as the Board of Directors for the D.C. International Live Events Association and is currently a volunteer mentor for military spouses with American Corporate Partners.
